Strong De-briefing Sessions are Key to understanding how your group can improve

Adventure Teambuilding

Whether its your sports team or your business team, our top-notch professional instructors can help your team. There is nothing like spending a day (or longer) getting to know your teammates better than navigating a ropes course, competing in a mini-adventure race, or orienteering through the woods with compasses!  Customize a teambuilding event for your team using any and all of our awesome adventure activities.

Why Adventure with Teambuilding?

Using adventure activities allows for a real life analogy that ties directly to the our world, and has real life applications. We blend two components together: Teambuilding and Adventure.  We use adventure-based activities (rappelling, orienteering, camping, etc.) as vehicles to address the issues or problems that affect your group's performance and to improve upon your groups ability to communicate, work more effectively together, and trust one another.

The adventure components allow the groups to recognize and address the issues very quickly.  Once the issues or problems surface, a strong de-briefing will be done to help individuals see how what happens in the activity correlates to the workplace or group environment.  Lastly, the thrill and excitement of adventure leaves lasting memories which result in lasting results.

What should I think about before planning my teambuilding event?

1. What is the purpose of the teambuilding event?

2. What outcomes would I like to have accomplished?

3. How much time do I want to commit to the event?

4. How many people do I want to involve?

5. What is the average fitness level of my team?

6. What have I done with my team in the past, and why did or didn't it work for them?

With the answers to these questions, we will be able to custom design an adventure teambuilding program for your group.

Why Choose Us for your Teambuilding Event?

Our instructors tailor the adventure activities to your group's ability level and goals.  Each teambuilding program we design is different from the last.  We are dedicated to working with you and your group to provide the best possible event for you.  We understand that the adventure world is intimidating to some (most) people.  With this in mind, we customize each activity to suit the group's particular needs.  We have done Teambuilding for many different types of people. From corporate executives, mentally or physically challenged persons, sports teams, and school teachers, we can provide a program with activities everyone will enjoy and earn success.

We have provided Adventure Teambuilding for many groups including Quantum Computer Corporation, Casella Waste Systems, Mercedes Benz Corporation, Allen Engineering, and Killington Resort, just to name a few.

Here is what some of our customers had to say about their teambuilding:

"You greatly exceeded our expectations, which were quite high to begin with. Many, many of our conference evaluations and informal conversations with participants noted the value of their experience with you, your staff and your facility."

-Joseph Fusco, Vice President, Casella Waste Systems

"The reps and the managers are still buzzing about the program and how much fun they had and what they learned. A great job in such a short period of time. I am very impressed. The concept and delivery were a success."

-Susan Tetrault Walker, Director of Sales, Killington Grand Resort Hotel and Conference Center

"On behalf of Quantum Corporation and my Account Team, I would like to thank Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center for an awesome teambuilding event. The professionalism and positive encouragement provided by GMRCC was exceptional. The event allowed everyone on my team to enjoy an outdoor experience that was slightly outside his or her own individual comfort zone.

-Kevin J. Hunt, Sales Account Executive, Quantum Corporation

Working with you to plan the event was what I believe lead to an excellent adventure for all of the leaders who attended. You listened extremely well, spent time with me to understand the needs of the group, and made sure that the activities were appropriate to their age an capabilities. When the group returned every single one of them made a special effort to tell me what a great time they had - they commented on the activity level being exactly appropriate (not too hard and there were not any down times) and that they really felt the day was well worth it.

- Brenda L. Blair, Associate Relations Manager, Hypertherm
