With rich, vibrant colors filling the charming towns and beautiful rolling hills, autumn in Vermont is not to be missed. A moist summer, sunny days and long cool nights set the stage for a colorful fall. The show peaks during the second and third weeks of October. Some of the spectacular fall trees which you will see on your travels down our picturesque winding roads include the bright yellow and orange sugar maples, brilliant red dogwoods, stunning red maples,purple-tinged ashes and yellow elms and oaks. 

We offer Loop tours and short destination hikes perfect for a half-day to a day of exploring the beautiful fall foliage of Vermont. Autumn is the ideal time for exploring Vermont's forests and rivers by foot. We have dozens of marked trails and tours ready for you that highlight the brilliant fall colors of Vermont
