Adirondack Expedition Camp (Ages 13 to 18)

Picture
Only the hardy need apply. This camp combines rock climbing and back packing in an adventure worthy of the name Expedition. On day one, front country climbing and an evening of education on the finer points of camp craft and expedition behavior will prepare campers for the days ahead. The next morning its packs on and the journey begins as everyone heads off into the Adirondack High Peaks. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors this five day four night camp will Summit Algonquin Peak, scale the infamous Trap Dike on Mt Colden, hold an Iron Chef camp cook off and culminate with an all day ascent of the 800 foot Diagonal, a spectacular rock climb on Wall Face Mountain. Expedition Camp is quite possibly the most adventure you can experience in five days! Most necessary gear included, a gear list will be provided prior to camp.
