The Bike Shop

The Bike Shop at the Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center is a full service bike shop.  We repair, sell and
rent bikes.  The head mechanic, Bruce Faulkner is a USA Cycling licensed mechanic with over 20 years of
repair experience.  Bruce worked for nine years at Bike Vermont and America by Bicycle as a tour leader and
mechanic.  Bruce led tours throughout Vermont and two tours from San Francisco to New Hampshire.  He has
given seminars on bicycle repair and maintenance at the Five Borough Bicycle Club in New York City.  For the
past five years he worked at the Great Outdoors in Rutland as a bicycle mechanic.  He has worked as neutral
support at the Tour of the Battenkill, the Killington Stage Race and the Vermont Sun Triathlon series.  In
addition he has worked at the Tour of California, Tour de Georgia and the Tour Dupont.  Zach Stockman
works with Bruce and will be more than glad to help when he is not available.

The mechanics at the Bike Shop can repair all styles and levels of bicycles: Mountain bikes, hybrids, family
cruisers, and full fledged race bikes.  We have the knowledge, tools and parts to turn most repairs around in
24 hours.  Immediate repairs are available with time permitting.

We are an authorized dealer for Kona, Litespeed and Terry bicycles. We have the ability to get parts and
bikes shipped overnight.

Another area of expertise at the bike shop is custom fitting and building of bicycles, with road bicycles being
our specialty.  We can custom fit your bike to your needs without the expensive process of a fit kit. We can
order custom frames in most sizes.  We are glad to provide references for bicycles that we have built.
