| Primitive Living/Survival Courses |
| At Vermont Adventure Tours we know that the world today is cluttered with gadgets that supposedly make life easier. Through our Wilderness Living and Survival Courses, we promote simple living, and bringing back the connection with nature that all life stems from. Learn how to start fires without matches, cook hearty meals using only what the land provides, understand where we fit into the ecosystem, and much more in our Primitive Living/Survival Courses! We specialize in training beginners in a friendly non-intimidating environment, so let us help you get back in touch with the wild! |
Introduction to Primitive Living & Wilderness Survival:
This two-day course educates students about the four
elements of survival and wilderness living and how to
find, build/gather, and maintain them. Students will
learn what to bring on outdoor trips to aid in survival
situations. Fire starting, shelter building, and food
identification are major elements learned in this
course. Participants should supply appropriate
clothing for the weather, food, and water. We will
provide all tools, equipment, and transportation to
any on-site locations.
Privately Guided Cost: $350.00/per person
(Minimum 3 people)

and skills necessary to live and survive in cold
weather. Students will learn what to bring on outdoor
trips to aid in winter survival situations. Students will
learn how to construct strong, durable, and effective
shelters from snow, and natural debris. Students learn
how to adapt to a cold weather environment while
staying dry, warm, and in good spirits.Students should supply appropriate
clothing for the weather, food for the day, and water.
We will provide all tools, equipment, and transportation
to any on-site locations.

(Minimum 3 people)
