Winter Living / Cold Weather Survival

This one-day course educates students on techniques and skills necessary to live and survive in cold weather. Students will learn what to bring on outdoor trips to aid in winter survival situations. Students will learn how to construct strong, durable, and effective shelters from snow, and natural debris. Students will also learn trapping techniques that are effective in the winter. Students should supply appropriate clothing for the weather, food for the day, and water. We will provide all tools, equipment, and transportation to any on-site locations.  (Minimum of 3 and Maximum of 8 participants)
